In a statement to KUNA, Al-Jarallah commended continued and intensified efforts made by the Foreign Ministry and the diplomatic mission in Cyprus that led to resolving the problem of the Kuwaiti nationals and helping them return home. He congratulated the Kuwaiti nationals and their relatives on ending their ordeal.

Meanwhile, Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of Cyprus in Kuwait Fahad Al-Mujil said that he was on daily contacts with the stranded Kuwaitis and their relatives until their problem was resolved, thanking all officials who helped reach this happy end.
