GENEVA-- The State of Kuwait is keen on benefiting from global expertize in the field of climate change and the methods in which to address this environmental problem, said a Kuwaiti diplomat Saturday.

While meeting with a delegation from Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) partaking in the Eighteenth World Meteorological Congress (Cg-18), on June 3-14, Kuwait's Ambassador to the UN and International organizations' headquarters in Geneva Jamal Al-Ghunaim said that his country was keen on sharing the concerns of the world regarding climate change.

He lauded the efforts of the DGCA's during the congress, affirming that the current climate situation required a firm stance from the world to prevent further damage to the earth's environment.

Kuwait is willing to cooperate with global partners to protect the environment from harm, stressed the diplomat.
