'Grieving' Albanese vows to review all Labor policies

23/05/2019

Aspiring Opposition leader Anthony Albanese says he is 'grieving' his party's election loss and has vowed to review all policies ahead of the next election. Speaking to Sky News from Marrickville, Sydney, Mr Albanese says ‘what we won’t look at is our values’, an ‘eternal’ commitment to working people, elevating living standards and the right to participate in unions. He says, ‘we’ll review all of our policies before the election’, confirming an Albanese-led Opposition would do so within the framework of necessary climate action. Changes would be put to caucus, the party membership, trade unions and Labor deserters, he says.
