Lebanon - President of the Republic Michel Aoun received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, ahead of Prime Minister Saad Hariri's arrival at the Elysee Palace on Saturday.

Both Presidents discussed the latest developments, whereby Aoun thanked his French counterpart for his interest in Lebanon, especially the role he played in tackling the situation that emerged after Prime Minister Hariri announced his resignation from Saudi Arabia.
