Lebanese Army Commander, US Congress delegation tackle military aids

Lebanon - Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday met at his Yarzeh office with a delegation from the US Congress Finance Committee, led by Rodney Frelinghusysen, in the presence of the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Elizabeth Richard.

Talks reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, in addition to the US Aids Program for the Lebanese army.

Major General Aoun then met with the visiting Estonian Defense Minister, Juri Luiq, on top of a delegation, in the presence of Estonian Ambassador to Lebanon.

Means of military cooperation between the armies of both countries highlighted their talks.
