Amb. Al-Bader stresses Kuwait's keenness on youth care

KUWAIT-- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Australia H.E. Najib Al-Bader said Kuwait is very much keen to development of Kuwaiti youth sector through various programs and services.

Al-Bader made his remarks in a speech in the 4th annual National Union of Kuwaiti Students in Australia (NUKSAU) conference which was held under the slogan "glory of Kuwait by youth renaissance," adding that this conference reflects youth's role in building and developing society.

In a statement received by KUNA on Monday, the Kuwaiti ambassador stressed that youth are the basic pillar of a nation's progress, and "the foundation on which we can build our nation's future," he added.

Al-Bader conveyed to the students the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and their aspirations to Kuwait's development and prosperity.

He said that naming Kuwait as the "Arab Youth Capital for the year 2017" reflects Kuwait continuous efforts to support youth initiatives, development and empowerment.

The two-day conference was held on April 22, and witnessed various activities focused on social, cultural and educational issues.

Moreover, Kuwaiti Embassy was also honored in the conference for its role in following up the students' affairs and overcoming all obstacles that may impede their academic career.
